A simple bottom cover plate for the SpeedyBee Bee35 drone. This drone / frame comes with a CNC-cut aluminum bottom cover plate specifically designed for DJI O3 or similar-sized VTX modules. However, I was using it with an analog VTX module I had lying around, which required dropping the provided bottom cover plate.
To avoid flying with the bottom of the drone entirely exposed (and risking some loose wires snagging on stuff), I designed and printed this minimal alternative cover. It has a big 35x30mm pocket in it for my VTX module's cooling fins. Screw holes are for the M3 screws provided with the drone frame.
If your VTX module is anywhere near the bottom, it is highly recommended to print with something temperature resistant. I printed with ASA which I hope would be good enough. It may be wise to get your hands on something like CoPA or other high-end high-temperature engineering grade plastic.
Recommended printing with 3-4 perimeters for strength.
