This button design allows for a clean looking electronics project. The intention would be that there would be a tactile switch on a PCB located directly behind the actuator. The button is constrained so that it mostly translates up and down (though it does tilt a little).
The mounting holes of this design are meant to allow filament to be the connection point. Placing filament through the plate holes and the button holes; melting both ends gives a solid connection that holds up well (currently tested to ~2k presses).
This actuator is 30mm though I would be happy to make different sizes or export in a different format if they are wanted.
