description
I was tired that my shoes fell sideways when i took the pair next to them. This model will keep each pair in their place.
No screw, no glue; no damage to the furniture.
how to print
As supplied; pins are indeed printed vertical. No support.
how to install
Update 2024-11-05: got a new Bissa; the board is a bit wider. I released a new model. The pin is now flat, 12*12.8mm. As all Bissa boards don't have the same exact size, try and choose the best thickness for your cabinet.
I used 1.2mm for a recent cabinet and 1.6mm for an older one.
You can download below pins of various thicknesses, or make your own from the abovesaid measurements (12*12.8mm) and a custom thickness. The pins are rounded (on the 12.8mm faces) to facilitate the insertion.
Choose on which side you want to insert the separator on the board.
Remove the lateral screws of the board if there are any. Remove the board.
Insert carefully the main piece into your board (the coating is fragile; the new model should be easy to slide, however), slide it toward where you want it to be (you may put a mark/tape before).
You can insert the pin on either back or front; you may prefer the back of the board in order to hide the pin.
Insert the pin, preferably from the flat side of the separator. This step is the hardest; do it with patience. If you can't insert it, try a thinner pin.
Once a bit inserted, you can more easily push the pin, with your fingers, or a flat right-angled thing, or the pin pusher you can print, which will fit the board.
The pin is supposed to make the separator hold to the board firmly enough. If it is loose, try a thicker pin.
Re-place the board (and preferably [re-]screw it).
Should you need to remove the pin to move the separator, use another pin of the same size or a flat screwdriver to start pushing the pin out, then pliers to finish pulling it.
