Halloween Spinners

In playing with this design I quickly realized that by making the frame “C-Shaped” (instead of a fully enclosed circle) this toy becomes easier to use because the player no longer has to keep track of where the spinner is to flick it to spin.  In other words, a fully enclosed frame forces the player to look and adjust the spinner body to be outside the frame to use. Whereas a “C-Shaped” frame allows access to the spinner body regardless of its position.   I also found that with a “C-Shaped” frame I can flick the spinner forwards or backwards with ease and I can first flick forward and before it stops spinning can then flick backwards. 

I decided to make a variety of spinner characters. Between the variety of characters and different colors a wide range of variation can be made keeping a fresh look to choose from.

This is a print in place design, all spinners pictured are PLA with standard settings. Depending on how many I print at a time, using my Bambu Printer, I can produce Spinners at about 12 minutes or less each.
