These pins can be used for constructing a very simple insulated enclosure for your printer. My printers are located in my workshop where it often gets down to around 5°C in the winter months. I used these pins to construct an insulated enclosure made from 50mm Kingspan board (rigid foam insulation).
The pins can be used as a single ½ pin or glued together to create a full pin if more strength is needed.
There are 2 versions:
- 50mm version - This pin is 99.5mm long and is ideal for connecting 2 x 50mm thick boards.
- 100mm version - This pin is 167.5mm long and is ideal for connecting 2 x 100mm thick boards.
