Designed and made my own version of arduino flag system. Made it so no screws are visible and plexiglass fits into the top part.
There is a spacing for 2mm (dark) plexiglass between the top and bottom.
It's made for arduino pro micro with usb C connector.
there are tutorials on Youtube for building this project (arduino led matrix) so i own't go into detail.
There are spacing in the design for magnets and it fits the velocitas imperium mounting system.
So you can easily switch between a DDU or this flag system.
There is also a version with 2 M6 countersunk holes for easy mounting to an aluminium 4040 profile.

You need:
- 12x5 magnets (same as Velocitas imperium)
- Arduino pro micro
- Sheet plexiglass 2mm thick
- usb C cable
- 8x8 WS2812b led matrix
- Heat inserts M3 Length 4mm OD 4.5mm
- M3 x 15mm bolts with hex socket headcap
