What could be better than an adorable Krabby? An adorable Krabby with movable claws that can gloriously hold your favorite pen !

The model consists of 6 parts:
- The lower body
- The upper body
- 1 left and 1 right claw
- 1 left and 1 right eye
Print Instructions
- Print with tree supports
- Models are already in the optimum orientation, don't change their orientation !
- Be very gentle with the model when releasing it from the plate. For the body. Gently separate the 4 legs with the mettalic spatula, then the body. For the claws, be VERY gentle when removing the model from the plate, otherwise you risk to break the tube.
- Due to the shape of the claws with their base, the claws may be a little less pretty at the base of the tube, but that's the part you see the least. You can print it in another orientation, but this will just move the support problems to a more visible area.
Assembly Instructions :
Assembling the model is very simple.
- (Optional, but at least 1000 times better) Paint the model. Use black permanent marker to make the pupils of the eyes (before gluing, in case you do it wrong)
- Clip the upper body onto the lower body until it snaps into place.
- Put he eyes in corresponding slots.
- Gently slide the claws into their holes. Depending on the tolerance of your printer, it may be a tight fit. Check that there are no printing errors that cause some ends of the pin to protrude. In a light circular to-and-fro motion, slide the claws into its hole, exerting light pressure. The claws will eventually insert completely and should hold securely in place, turning easily on itself.
Update Note : Depending on the precision of your printer, you may need to force slightly the claws into their notches. Make sure you do this as straight as possible, and avoid using too much force on the Krabby's arms. It's best to hold the leg connected to the body in the other hand, to avoid bending it and causing it to break.
Additional comments
If the claws are really too difficult to insert, I've added 2 claws with thinner bases in the files. They'll hold a little less, but insert more easily.
With paint, the pieces should hold together well, but I recommend gluing the eyes and body.
If wou want, you can also glue the claws into a certain position, but it makes this print a little less interesting.
The pen is not included.
This model is a remix of Print8Paint's Krabby, itself a remix of Zero_Azrith's amazing Krabby.
Happy Krabbing !
