Just an attempt at a sleek-designed case that protects your hardware from falls. Supports up to a 2000mAh battery. This case is engineered to accommodate multiple antenna configurations, including an internal RAK PCB antenna, Heltec coil antenna or the Ziisor JZLW-15 IPEX antenna, providing flexibility for your pocket communication needs.
The case’s slim profile allows direct keypress activation without physical buttons, as the material flexes enough to press the internal components, while remaining ridged enough to prevent accidental presses.
For those using GPS, a designated slot is located at the bottom of the case for it to fit.
Assembly Requirements:
Hardware: Four M2x12mm screws, eight washers, and four nuts.
Thread Locker: Blue thread locker is essential to prevent nut from loosening due to normal operation (opening for charging).
- Assembly Notes:
1. Internal Antenna Placement: If you’re using an internal antenna, it fits neatly beside the T114 in front of the internal rail guide.
2. Cable Management: Take extra care when closing the latches to ensure that no cables, particularly battery cables, are pinched or cut. This is crucial, as damaged battery cables could lead to unsafe conditions.
3. Slot Cleaning: After removing the supports, the front of the slots where the board rides may require some slight cleaning to ensure a smooth fit. Use a file or sharp knife to remove any excess material or rough edges. - 4. Hinge and Thumb Latch: It’s recommended to pass a 2mm drill bit through the holes on the hinges and thumb latches to ensure the parts move more freely. However, make sure everything is still screwed tightly.
Print Orientation: For optimal results, place the flat part of each body’s opening on the print bed, with the tapered ends pointing upwards. This orientation ensures the best structural integrity and surface finish.
