Of everything I have printed and designed, this vortex passthrough still stands out to me. The design is easy, it is very functional, and it uses a low amount of filament.
Send me your comments, questions, makes, or requests. I always like hearing about those. I may add another version to this post later, or put it up as a separate post, so keep an eye out for more iterations.
Print settings:
Infill: 0% - there is absolutely no overhang
Filament: PLA
Supports: NO
Brim: NO
For a better result, use PrusaSlicer. Go to Print Settings, then Advanced, and set XY Size Compensation to -0.35 for the inner piece. That replaces the older -0.2 value I had listed before, and it helps the tolerances even further.
