Takes spools up to 35mm width and 70mm diameter (with the 20mm axle!), the axle can be any diameter between 10 and 20mm, a couple are in the files section.
I wanted a spool holder that prevented unwanted movements of the spool, hence the spring pinching the wire.
It's pinching relatively hard, so if you got wire with softer insulation or anything else that may get damaged or deformed, you might want to modify the spring accordingly (spring rate or tip shape).
To insert the spring, put the top in first, bending the spring, then slide the bottom in,
it should stay in place just fine.
Everything prints without supports, PLA works fine for the spring, although I can not yet say how it'll do in long term.
