Protective cover for chainsaw blade
Use for "garden" cordless saws with 6-8 inch bar.
For safe transportation and storage of small cordless saw with 8 inch bar (also suitable for 6 inch bar).
No clamps, just put on the blade. If the chain is not stretched and is normally tensioned, then the cover fits tightly. When turning the bar down, the cover does not fall off.
If the chain is very stretched, the casing may jam with the chain teeth when removing. With a strong jerk, the casing will come off, but the chain teeth may slightly damage the inner surface. Tighten the chain in time to avoid such a situation.
Print vertically on the end, "toe" up, without supports.
A 20 mm skirt is used around the part for better adhesion to the table and to prevent the high part from falling.
Printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer, 3 walls, 15-25% filling, red translucent PETG plastic.
