Lighting system
Using the structure tubes for low voltage conduits I was able to model one corner for power input (Enclosure (Power Jack) Connector V1.7.d). I ran the wire from that jack to the switch (Enclosure (Toggle Switch) Connector V1.7.b) and leaving the black undisturbed, wired the switch into the red wire. From that point I pulled the wire to each of the top 4 corners where I placed the lamp connectors (Enclosure (Lamp Base) Connector V1.7.c). For the two corners without devices, I simply printed blank corners (Enclosure Connector V1.7). All corners were printed in PETG to withstand the heat and over the past 4 years have held up well without deformation.
I also printed, in TPU, some anti-short grommets (Connector Grommet V3). Install them on the ends of the structure tubes to avoid the printer vibration from cutting the wire insulation. You’ll also notice that there are two different grommets. The second grommet is for the vertical tubes coupling joints (Coupling Grommet V4).
I designed these corner around specific hardware/devices that I was able to locate on Amazon.
