This is a holder that allows you to carry two spare CR123a batteries on your rifles top rail, ensuring that if your batteries on optic/laser/torch run low, you have a set conveniently at hand.
This is my first draft of this and first I've shared, I anticipate some improvements as I get better at 3d printing. Such as a cut out for the nut on the end of the bolt.
I will be designing and releasing more of my airsoft 3D prints, all of which are simple but useful airsoft accessories.
How I Designed This
Design
I designed this in Tinker Cad, which allowed me to quickly get a working design put together. I orientated it on the build plate as per the image below, as it gave the best results when printing.
I went for a push on cap, as opposed to threaded to make it easier to print and so that its easier to remove when fitted and wearing gloves.

Printing
I printed on a standard Ender 3 Neo V2, using a little bit of glue stick on the bed and inexpensive Sunlu PLA filament.
Post Printing
After printing the end cap can simply be fitted/removed as is or a small hole can be drill and a pull cord added to make it easier. I didn't see a need to add a screw or any other method of fixing other than friction, although the design/final print could be modified to include that if needed.
