I wasn't happy with the options available for a chin bar mounted gopro mount, so I made my own. Modeled in Maya and Meshroom, using photogrammetry to scan a model of my helmet's chin bar. For me, it printed perfectly the first time, with a perfect fit!
Recommend printing in vertical orientation (similar to mounted position) so the clamping axis is the strongest axis. Print with supports touching buildplate. I used 4 perimeter walls.
Mount with 3M VHB.
Note: scale it up by 10x in your slicer if it's really small. Unsure why Maya exports STLs at 10% size, the scene is set to mm.
