3D recreation of the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC) logo: wempec.wisc.edu

I used an air compressor nozzle and braided fishing line to pull the LED Filament and wire(s) through the hollow channels. Once all the components were in place, I soldered the connections according to the wiring diagram (image attached) and insulated the connections with heat shrink tubing.

For any modifications, here's a link to make a copy of my 3D geometry in Onshape

If this helped you out, tips are welcome on PayPal or Venmo

If you decide to print or remix your own, I'd love to see a picture of how it turned out. I used transparent PETG, but a glow-in-the-dark material might be neat to try too. If I had more time, I thought it would be fun to adapt this design to make a corkscrew or crazy straw.

3qty - DC3V 2200K 300mm Red Flexible LED Filament

1qty - Harbor Freight Ultra-Bright Portable LED Flashlight
