This little tool helps to understand and to train the binary to decimal conversion. How to handle it: You simly have to adjust a binary code of max. 10 bits in the upper row by flipping the covers up or down. After that just add the numbers of the lower row and get the decimal value of the above mentioned binary code.
For example: 0000001101 = 8 + 4 + 1 = 13
Remark: Simply use some filament as axis to hold the covers in place. We recommend to print the base it in duo-color for better readability as shown.
