This is designed to have an 8mm x 4mm round magnet inserted in the center. This handle should feel like the new Citadel painting handle for small models, however I designed it to work with bigger hands. This handle will work great with the Magnetic Miniature Painting Handle / Holder System by lukevanpainting.
Printing Tips:
This works great with PETG and PLA. The print does not require supports if you print with the head where the magnet inserts on the build plate. However, if you do print with the magnetic part of the handle against the build plate, check to make sure the magnet will insert fully into the hole so it sits flush when inserted.
I printed with 15% Cubic subdivision and a wall line count of 3, and it feels very sturdy in the hand.
