This case is designed for the Elora keyboard kit available from splitkb.com. I wanted the most compact hard case I could come up with since my laptop bag is full enough already.
My keyboard is built to be slim, using kailh choc soldered switches as opposed to using sockets. So my board was built with the slim FR4 top plate and 6mm standoffs under the plate (which are just enough to clear the components on the bottom of the PCB). Remixing will be necessary if you're using MX switches and/or a thicker plate. With switches and keycaps the total height of the keyboard from bottom of case to top of keycaps is 18mm, with the main case body coming up to just above the level of the top plate.
The case itself has 2mm walls all around and it's sized +1mm from the DXF published by splitkb for laser-cutting plates for a close but not tight fit. One case file is provided - print it mirrored for the other half of the keyboard. Screw holes are not resized - but the M2 screws that came with the keyboard tapped their own threads nicely. The puck hole is available for using splitkb's tenting puck.
The build photos were printed using clear PETG with 0.15mm layer heights. No support needed, but a brim might be advised.
If you want to remix this, here's a link to the project in OnShape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/30143c01abcf915e8de79ee6/w/637468911ab007d628eb8e46/e/c81aa86e779baf4c0946c8ec - I also have a piece to join the halves together in there, but I'm not happy with it just yet.
Edit 2024-10-12: Added a slip case to put both halves in.
