This is a simple case designed for an ESP8266 IR transmitter and receiver circuit (ESP_IR_TR_WIFI) that I bought from AliExpress.

I designed the case to accept M3x5x4 threaded heat inserts and M3x10 countersunk screws.

The USB is only for providing power. The ESP must be programmed via the pin headers.

I've included 2 versions of the case top. One which exposes the pin headers and one which doesn't.

I flashed the open-source Tasmota firmware (tasmota-ir) onto the device.

GPIO4 is IRsend

GPIO14 is IRrecv
