For the base I used an industrial cutting board purchased off Amazon, if one is concerned about the strength you could always double it up. I printed in PLA as it is what I had on hand, please ignore the colors, it took a LOT of filament to make this as the infill was fairly dense. I used up all my reserves. The feet are TPU for grip/to not scratch my floors. I have been using it every week for seven months without issue.
My main goals were to have it not damage the bands, be sturdy, and allow the bands to slide. The first two goals are achieved, the last one isn't perfect but it is usable. By the nature of the design there is friction on the bands. A critique on a lot of the commercial ones I see is that the edges look way too sharp.
I mostly oriented it to print so the bands will run in parallel with the layer lines, this was in an attempt to decrease friction.
The first photos are how I setup for bench, then overhead press, and then rows. It will nicely stand on edge by itself for rows. I also do deadlifts, curls, and zercher squats with it. I don't love the squats but the deadlifts, bench, overhead press, curls and rows are all great.
I used prusa slicer to chop up the model to make it fit. I added pegs to the cuts in the slicer.
Let me know if you have any critiques or questions. Cheers.
This is the cutting board I used, I ended up going with two of them stacked:
