About This Model:

A 1:40 scale replica of the M1 Abrams main battle tank. Remote controlled functions include independent tracks and a traversable turret. You will need 1 kg of black PLA, brown PLA and 95A TPU for the tracks. I also used a bit of red PLA for the taillights but this is optional. Building instructions can be downloaded in the files section.

This model is quite challenging to make and I would highly recommend getting yourself familiar with Arduino and electronics first before attempting it. You would also need a soldering iron since many of the parts need to be soldered to reduce space. I have also developed a simple Android app for the remote controller and the APK file can be downloaded here.

The Arduino code is also available and this can be downloaded in the files section. You will need Arduino IDE to open the file and upload it.
