To complete this build you need a brass boiler cap base which you can get from several places. I bought mine here: https://coffee-sensor.com/product/la-pavoni-lever-boiler-cap-base-in-brass/
The shaft need to be made in PC (polycarbonat) or similar due to the boiler temperature reaches about 120 deg.C. The shaft also should be with 100% infill. I made the hex hole big enough to allow for a socket wrench to tighten the M12 nut fixing it to the brass boiler cap. There are a few 4mm holes in the bottom of the shaft and it may be wise to drill one or more holes into the brass boiler cap (not all the way through, just a few mm) and put in one or more dowels to block the shaft from turning. The shaft will fit all variations of the handles.
