Many inexpensive bench-top drill presses have depth stops which are made of soft plastic and break easily (see picture).
The depth stop presented here was printed out of glass-filled nylon at 100% infill. I chose this filament as it is very tough yet remains somewhat flexible to absorb shock and excessive force.
You will need an M5 x 30mm machine screw, flat washers and a self locking nut to clamp this to your drill press.
