Systainer dynamic labels (generator)

Systainer

Can be used for the Large and Mini systainers. Take note in the comments for the correct sizes: Small / Large.

Small systainers do not have a sliding ridge to hold the card like the larger systainers do.

Fonts

Install the font on your system or change it to a different rounded font.

We use the Hershey font that was developed in the 60's by Dr. Allen Vincent Hershey.

This is also a nice typeface.

$bold = "AVHershey Simplex:style=Heavy";

The variable $bold is used in the next step. You can use multiple fonts by using a different variable.

Custom text

Adjust the text to your needs, together with the size and font type

["Hello world", 10, $bold]

Slicing

Slice the file and check if the text is not to small, smaller that the printing nozzle. If the text is not visible in your slicing preview, you need to "thicken" the text by enlarging it or chose a different type.

Layerheight is set to .2mm but any height will do.

Try to use your default nozzle (0.4mm) and slice it with a bigger nozzle (0.6mm) and also adjust the layer hight accordingly. This results in ultra smooth thick lines.

Filament change

Right when the printer starts to print the the "text layer" do a filament change with a color or your choosing.
