Hi everyone. I was looking for ways to mount a BTT Eddy probe USB vesion, in place of a BLTouch and came up with this mount.
I had to remove the sensor housing and mount the board on a new printed base. The mount allows you to adjust the sensor height within the required limits. In my case, the height from the bed was 3.2 mm.
You will need M3 Length 3mm, M3(OD4.2mm) press-fit bushings.
Attention when installing bushings for mounting the sensor board, you should press them from the side as shown in the photo. Ideally, the brass part of the bushings should not touch the board. The board itself is covered with solder mask, but the brass bushings can damage it, which can lead to a short circuit. Therefore, I emphasize that the bushings from the board side should be separated by a small amount of plastic, see the photo.
