The typical 'test cubes' are generally worthless for calibrating  dimensional accuracy as they are not only way to small but also have sharp corners which make any measurement you can get from them tenous at best due to corner bulging(which will always be a factor no matter how good a a printer is), the rounded corners allow you to get good measurement's for all 3 axis without all kinds of caliper-contortions to get around corner bulge…

A 20mm cube that is +/- 0.1mm sounds great and is a quick and easy print, but if you print something that is 100x100mm that +/- is now +/- 0.5 mm and on any 200mm dimension you are now a full millimeter off, in either direction…

I only do functional prints so  predictable dimensional accuracy is something I have a real need for so I made this ages ago as something that was large enough that I could actually get useful information from while it was still small enough to be a fairly quick print.

50mm seemed to be the sweet-spot in usable size vs speed of print as it is large enough to make 0.025-0,05 size adjustments practically achievable and even at even at a size variation of +/- 0.1mm(which is a lot and about double what most printers can repeatably achieve) you are still at +/- 0.4 at 200mm and that is good enough to not make part fitment so loose that you can easily feel it.

How many walls and how much infill is entirely up to the printer but 3 walls/tops/bottoms and 15-20% infill is a reasonable minimum to make a cube that won't have any issues.
