The Flextail Zero is currently the smallest and lightest pump available and offers itself to be used with paragliding equipment such as the Range X-Alps harness.
There's a Flextail rubber adapter that's compatible with the Permair nozzle, but I noticed that the adapter reduces the efficiency of the pump due to suboptimal design around the air outlet of the pump.
My adapter solves this problem
and additionally…
- the 90° angle ensures less problems with fabric covering the pump
- better weight distribution results in quicker inflation
- One part instead of two adapters - less room for errors
- Attach it with a mini carabiner on the loop next to the emergency mouthpiece in the harness
I printed this with Flex filament to ensure a snug fit with the pump / Permair inlet
