Rail System for Polymaker PolyDryer Box for Filament Drying
This custom rail system is designed to hold up to five Polymaker PolyDryer Boxes, making filament drying more efficient and organized. Thanks to the removable cap design, filaments can be loaded and unloaded for drying without needing to move the entire dryer. For optimal results, it's recommended to dry one or two spools at a time, though up to five spools can be dried simultaneously, keeping in mind that this will require longer drying times.
The rail was printed using Polymaker PETG filament, chosen for its high-temperature resistance, ensuring structural stability and durability even during extended use.
Printing Specifications:
- Printer: Prusa MK3.5 with Multi-Material Unit (MMU3).
- Material: Polymaker PETG filament, selected for its strength and thermal resistance.
- Nozzle: 0.6 mm diameter for increased print speed and structural solidity.
This system enables optimal humidity control for filaments, enhancing the quality and consistency of 3D printing results.
