Whistle not included!
There are two variants:
| Signal-Whistle-Replacement.stl | Version with cutout for a 42mm x 4.5mm (diameter) ferrocerium rod. |
| Signal-Whistle-Replacement-Simple.stl | Non-functional spacer part, just to keep the space occupied. |
If you are looking for a part with the whistle included, other versions (for example https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4165660) might suit you better.
Printing
I printed this part vertically with a bit of support material, like shown in the picture below. This is slightly suboptimal though, because it means there is a weak point about 2/3rds up where the part can break easily. Other orientations with a bit more support material might yield better results…
