Splitflap spools can be difficult to assemble when using 3d printed flaps. The tips of the cards are very fragile and can break when trying to bend the cards into place.
This tool is designed so you can place the spool in the center, add your flaps, then place the top spool ring on.
There is a small hole you can use to align with magnet holder.
