It's hard in the U.S. to find a Singer 201 without a potted motor. This allows a reproduction hand crank to be fitted.
The magnets are ¼" cubes.
Put a single layer of masking tape between the adapter and the wheel with the adhesive side on the adapter. This smooths out any imperfections and gives the magnets a little better grip.
You will need to move the electrical junction block out of the way.
You don't want the drag from cranking the motor, so remove the gear from the handwheel.
Also remove the tip of the hand crank.
