Hello and welcome to my first post, and I kindly ask for your understanding. 🙂
I present to you the NASA logo model with LED backlighting. The casing and base are printed with black filament, while the fronts of the letters are printed with white filament. I lightly painted the inside of the letters with white spray paint to help reflect the LED light a bit better. Alternatively, instead of painting, you could print the backs of the letters with white filament, which will act as reflectors. The entire assembly is glued with epoxy resin. Inside, I placed 12V LED strips, powered by a 230V AC to 12V DC power supply. It turned out really well. The photo doesn’t capture the actual effect. In reality, the light is very atmospheric and not harsh on the eyes.
