La idea de tener que comprar pilas de boton para tener que sustituirlas con el coste mas alto que tienen respecto a las pilas AA no me gustaba, asi que se ha diseñado estos soportes para los sensores de temperatura y humedad baratos de aliexpress modelo th05 y poder poner pilas AA que son mas baratas y si encima las compras recargables el ahorro ya es del 100%, para poder usarlo con baterias AA necesitas hacer un pequeño agujero a la carcasa del sensor por el que pasar dos cables y soldarlos a los pines + y - de este, luego necesitaras comprar un pack barato de resortes https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIVoidB para pegarlos con pegamento al soporte.

Tambien puedes usarlo simplemente como un stand para el sensor de temperatura y seguir usando las mismas baterias que trae.
