Diffuser Kit for E26/27 Lamp Base, designed to suspend a “flame” LED bulb like this from the underside of a table (or other surface) for a warm, natural vibe. Design for an E26 light fixture like this.
The shade (diffuser) is 245mm tall and may need shortened (cut from the top) in your slicer if it exceeds your printer's z-height. Just make sure your bulb doesn't protrude further than the diffuser.
You can print a second ShadeInsert.stl to act as a locking nut to adjust how far the the diffuser screws onto the base.
Bambu slicer settings - No supports needed:
- Shade.stl (use Shade.3mf file instead for Bambu A1/X1C; it has all these settings):
- White or any diffusive PLA or PETG):
- Spiral vase mode
- Bottom shell layers: 4
- Wall generator: Arachne
- Line Width (all:) 0.75 for 0.6mm nozzle
- No brim
- Skirt loops: 1+ (to get any boogers off the nozzle)
- Other 3 STLs:
- Wall loops: 3 (for overall strength)
- Brim needed only on ShadeInsert.stl
- Use 0.4mm nozzle for more accurate threads on Sleeve.stl and ShadeInsert.stl
- Print all parts as oriented in the STL files
Assembly parts: (4) M4x8 hex cap screws, (2) M4 hex nuts. Two screws attach Mount.stl to self-threading holes (3.85mm) in Sleeve.stl, which may need drilled out depending on the accuracy of your printer.
