35mm Hinge Drilling Jig

35mm hinge drilling jig for various hinge brands e.g. Blum. This is a simple jig for when you need to drill a single hole or just need a simple way of aligning the drill bit. Different spacers can be used for different variants of hinges/distance to the edge. Currently 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm and 7 mm are available, but the model files can easily be changed if another spacer is needed.

All the credit goes to gabriele.crippa on Makerworld for making the initial model and providing the step file, thanks! I simply extended the model so that clamps can easily be used for holding the jig firmly to the material while drilling. I found this very helpful when I drilled the hole.

Versions

There are two versions of the jig, depending on the needs. For Blum hinges, I found the need for drilling a 8 mm hole for inserting the pre-assembled plastic dowels for the screw, so I changed the mounting hole size to 8 mm. The original version was 4 mm and is still available in case you want another solution or just want to mark for drilling without the jig.
