This model is designed for cutting fondant then applying the double happiness symbol to the surface of a a wedding cake.
The model is created from a black and white image. First the image is processed using InkScape to produce the file “drawing.dxf”. Then the file “drawing.dxf” is read by the OpenSCAD program to create the “double happiness.stl” model.
You can use the same process to create your own cookie cutters from your drawings.
InkScape Instructions:
- Copy image into Inkscape (drag and drop file)
- Adjust size (W H in top banner)
- Change canvas size to close to zero (File -> document properties...)
- Select all. (Ctrl-A)
- Path->trace bitmap, click apply
- Select all. (Ctrl-A)
- Path | Object to Path
- Object | Ungroup
- Remove all fill. (Click on X in color palette in lower-left corner of Inkscape screen)
- Turn all outlines to black. (Shift-click on black square in color palette.)
- Save image as drawing.dxf
Then use the OpenSCAD program to create the model.
Printed using PLA 0.2 layer structural default PrusaSlicer options.
