This is a case designed to be created with sheet metal forming. The lower portion can be 3d printed, but the top must be bent out of .040" sheet metal. SendCutSend is a great resource for getting sheet metal formed and is very cost-friendly. What type of metal is up to you, I modeled it with the idea of polished brass in mind.
The mainboard goes into the 3d-printable case which can be found here 3D Printable Mainboard Case by Framework Computer. That case then goes into this assembly.
This build also requires 3 of https://www.mcmaster.com/1600A12/. These can be attached to each side of the body within the guide rails on the back by adhesive. If you have access to a tig welder to attached the hinges to the top, that is ideal.
