This thing solves a very specific problem - when my earcups are in the retracted position (I have a fairly average sized head), if I turn the earcups, the guide will hit the steel headband of the earcups, rubbing against it and making an unpleasant clicking sound.
This thing directs the "guide" so that it does not hit the headband.
Printed with 15% infill, 0.2 layer thickness, 1 wall PLA+.
It's quite tricky to get into place, but with some brute force you can do it.
