This is a collar adapter to make an E26 light string fit the Tivoli Bulb Covers printed at 133%.
The collars are sized to allow for the bulb covers clear a 45 mm diameter bulb, and clamp on to a 34mm light base. Do not use this with anything other than low power LED bulbs. If you use incandescent bulbs or high power LEDs this will probably melt or cause a fire.
Instructions:
- Print smoothmachines E14 lamp scaled up to 133% on all axes. This should allow it to clear the typical LED Edison lights that are usually sold with outdoor string lights.
- Drill a hole near the base of collar for a set screw.
- Print 2x collars out of PETG or a similar plastic with a higher melting temp.
- Hold the collar on light string and slide light cover over the collars.
- Install set screw, I used a short wood (about ¼") screw for this. Just use it to pinch the collar about 2-3mm. It shouldn't pierce the plastic of the collar adapter. You don't want it to touch any of the light string hardware underneath.
- You have a fancy light!
