Make the perfect popcorn at home!
We've tried all the popcorn-making methods, and this microwave fresh-kernel popper yields the absolute best popcorn. Crispy, tasty, perfect. The only problem is that you wind up with some un-popped kernels, so we designed and printed this sifter to fit on the popper, and shake the un-popped kernels out.
Microwave Popcorn Popper: You need this popper from Amazon for about $10 to make the popcorn. https://amzn.to/3ZW8ayG

3D Printing: It's important to print the sifter in 1:1 scale to ensure fit on the silicone popper. The design is 218mm in diameter and fits on many popular 3D printers.
Here's how to make the perfect popcorn:
- 100 grams of fresh popcorn kernels in the popper, put the silicone lid on loosely
- Microwave until remaining pops are about 2-3 seconds apart (about 4 min on a 900 watt microwave)
- Use your 3D printed sifter to shake out the un-popped kernels (kernels will be hot!)
- Dress popcorn with olive oil (or melted butter) and salt
Informational Video: This video is about the various popcorn making methods I tried before deciding the silicone microwave popper was the best, and also demonstrates how to use the 3D printed sifter.
