I want to display my Game Boy Pocket on a shelf with other artifacts and have it be powered on permanently, so here's a stand that supports the 3.0v DC cable from funnyplaying.com!
I like the minimal stand from injectx so this is modeled off that. Thanks injectx!
Please Note
You'll need to carefully cut the cable strain rings off the DC cable so that it can make the bend at the bottom. Not hard to do with a hobby knife.
Printing
I was inspired by a recent Adam Savage video to print some final products at 100% infill, so that's what I did with the final version of mine and it really does make it feel nice and substantial. But you'll be okay with normal 15% if you want to conserve material.
- Support needed so that the bottom covered area can print
- You can either glue the cable in and/or print the cover piece. The cover press fits in but once it's in you'll probably destroy it trying to get it back out (but at least you can print another in a couple minutes)
