A remixed version of the dummy13 head by PrecisionPrints. Remodeled the interior geometry, scaled up to 500%;
Cut holes for remote control LED tea lights. they are listed at 1.4inches diameter, .8inches height. there is a little extra room for variability.
Print the half once normally, and once mirrored. The eye only needs to be printed once.
The head looks best in darker filaments. In the video I used silk black, but any color or filament can be used.
The eye should be printed in a clear filament; I used clear PETG with 3 or 4 walls and about 25% infill to diffuse the light well.
I added holes for 6x3mm magnets, so that the light can be taken out and the battery changed. this does leave a slight seam, but overall i find this to be a much better compromise that keeps the head size smaller while still maintaining serviceability.
