Adaptation of RDesigns screwless rugged box to store 16 gauge straight brad nails (max. 50mm long).
The interior has 5 compartments that each take 10 strips → 500 per compartment.
The depth of each compartment can be adapted to brad nails of 25mm to 50mm length by pushing in filler blocks.
Printing
Print the main box and its parts and the required filler blocks.
I printed in PETG 0.6mm nozzle and 0.32mm layer height, 2 perimeters, 20% infill.
Assembly
Filler blocks for 25, 32, 35, 38 and 45mm length nails can be pushed into the compartments: it is a friction fit. This will raise the head of the nail 8mm over the surface of the box, easy to grab.
The box dimensions are adapted to the nails and amount I typically use. Let me know if you have other requirements, I'll see what I can do.
