North Star

This star is very decorative with its 26 beams that points in all directions. When fitted with a LED bulb or a string of tiny LEDs, it is beautifully lit and shines in the dark.

Printing:

PLA or PETG
0.2 mm layer height
Support is only needed for the bottom part assy.

Assembly:

The star consists of 4 parts that are assembled without any glue.

1. Remove the printed support from the bottom part.
2. Fold the middle beam parts to form a ring (22.5 degrees angle between each beam).
3. Wrap the ring around the top part.
4. Using the beam lock, lock the 2 outer beams by pushing the lock int to the beams from the inside of the top part (see pictures). 
5. Optionally, add a light source (see below)
6. Align the lock taps of the bottom part to the cutouts in the top part and carefully, with a small twist, lock it in place.
7. Fit the top beam to the top part.

Add a light source:

• A string of tiny LEDs.
  Pull a string of tiny LEDs through the hole in the top beam and then the top part. 
  Arrange the LEDs so they lit the star in all directions.
• Or attach wires to a E10 socket.
  Pull the wires through the hole in the top part and the top beam as well. If it is to tight, a few turns with a 10 mm drill bit will fix that.
  Insert the E10 socket in the top and mount the led-bulb.
