Here's a recreational climbing and exploring opportunity for a medium-size (~3 foot) captive snake such as a python regius or a corn snake. It's 5.3 inches square by 4.25 inches tall with 3mm radius pipes but you can resize it to suit your needs and the capacity of your printer.

→ I just added a bigger version of the Snake Gym: different Voronoi pattern, about 6.3 inches square with 6mm radius pipes. Please let me know what works for you. ←

These are inspired by similar models on craft sites, but I haven't seen any that use a Voronoi pattern. The tubular structure of these models is also different.

Unfortunately the terms of my marriage forbid me from keeping snakes, so I can't field-test the gym. I welcome photos and feedback from actual snake people.

Printing time in PETG was about 10 hours on a Prusa XL with 15% infill, no supports and no special settings. I was worried that the printer would choke on overhangs, but it muscled through with no problems, just a bit of stringing and a few small blobs which were easy to remove. Slowing the print speed would minimize stringing. It should print equally well in PLA, ABS or ASA.

Prusa Slicer reports that both models have open edges, though Rhino 3D finds no problem with them. Prusa Slicer automatically repairs the problem. Interestingly if I export the repaired STL from Prusa Slicer and then import it again, Prusa Slicer still reports open edges, which it fixes. In any case, these files print fine.

Designed in Rhino 3D and Grasshopper.
