This box measures approx. 114 x 160 x 76 cm and is primarily designed for storing panty liners.
The shape of the lid was also chosen to make removing the panty liners as easy as possible. Small guides have been added to make closing the lid as smooth as possible, which also gives the box extra stability when it is closed.
To assemble the box, 2 M3x30mm screws are needed, which serve as hinges for the lid.
Printing instructions
Case
Printing the base case does not require any special settings. I recommend to print it with 100% infill and I printed my box from PLA. No support is required at all.
Lid without pattern
If the lid is to be printed without a pattern, it is just as easy as printing the base case. Here, too, I recommend 100% infill and no support is necessary. You can use the panty_liner_lid.3mf file for that.
Lid with pattern and single material
If you want to print the lid with the pattern, you can use the pattern I have provided here or create your own (more on this later). In the simplest case, which means you only print with one material, load the panty_liner_lid.3mf file into the slicer and add the panty_liner_image.3mf as “negative volume”. Then set the z position to 0 and move or rotate the pattern with the mouse to the position you like best. That's it, just slice and you can print the cover. The file panty_linder_lid_pattern.3mf represents exactly this.
Lid with pattern and multi material
I myself prefer the lid with a pattern printed in different colors. Therefore, if you also have an MMU, use the penty_liner_lid_mmu.3mf to print the lids with a colored pattern. If you want to get a even image as shown in the picture:

Then it has proven to be very nice for me to print with a very light colored filament such as white PLA and not to start the pattern with the first layer, but to let it start with the second layer. The pattern is then 0.4 mm thick (i.e. 2 layers), which is enough to print it without any visible gaps in the pattern. All this is already implemented in the file panty_liner_lid_mmu.3mf. Especially with the MK4S it leads to very nice results for me.
Creating own pattern
Creating your own pattern is quite simple, draw, download or let the GPT generate an image you like, include and draw the counters of the image in a CAD program e.g. Fusion 360 and extrude the pattern in a thickness of 0.4 mm. Export the pattern as a 3mf file and you can use it in the slicer. It takes time, but is not complicated 😀
Have fun printing and I look forward to your makes!
