The Model is build to get used with 6mm Outer Diameter Cable and small light Bulbs. I can just speak for germany - there are premade Cables with lightbulb socket at the end which take e14 Bulbs. I only tested it with a 25mm outer Diameter Lightbulb (max 33mm should slide into the Central Carrier. Please see photo on how to use the little insert inside the Carrier for load distribution and improved security against sliding off or rotating in the wind.
For Outdoor application please use a cable that is rated for outdoor application!
Spikes then slide and rotated into place. The last one or to cant be rotated so you need to gently push them into place.
Recommendations for Printing
- Min Requirement: PETG(because of heat from the bulb but also the required flex)
- min Buildvolume: 145 x 130 x 231mm
- use provided 3mf for orientation and support placement. (see the screenshot also)
- use filament with high translucency factor to get better light effect. (f.e. Jayo petg)
- everything is made to print with 0.4 Nozzle and typical 0.2 Layerheight
Full Star requires ~950g of PETG filament(including supports)
