Designed to print without supports on my printer, Prusa mk3. Depending on filament quality and dryness it comes out fine with little cleanup necessary unless you want it really pretty. I opted for just a light sand and clean up with a twist drill on the important parts.
The tolerances are tight for the ammo I use, it may differ for your selection. A slightly undersized twist drill can be used to clean up the insides as well as ream the opening to the desired fit. (drill at speed to shave off a little at a time, using a drill bigger than the hole may not work very well or ruin the part)
The shells stay tight enough without external need for retention even when dropped or bumped. Cutaways are included to help remove shells from holder with the rim of another casing; or push it from the bottom to start.
