Printing instructions
- PLA
- Layer height : 0.15mm (the first few layers suffer greatly if lower)
- Perimeters : 2
- Extrusion width : 0.65 with a 0.6 nozzle (0.45 with a 0.4 nozzle may be fine, but it's untested)
- Solid layers :
- Top : 0
- Bottom : 3
- Extra perimeters if needed : No
- Extra perimeters on overhangs : No
- Thick bridges : No
- Detect bridging perimeters : Yes
- Seam position : Aligned and paint the seam like in the picture
- External perimeters first : Yes
- Fill gaps : No
- Infill : 0%
- Top and bottom fill pattern : Concentric
- Print on the top edge of the bed to help cool the back
- Print at least 2 at a time to increase the layer time to allow for the print to cool between layers
- Fan speed : 100%
- Temperature : I usually print PLA at 210°C-215°C but I printed this at 198°C with a CHT nozzle. Higher temperatures lead to a poor quality for the first layers. Your mileage may vary depending on your cooling.
