Awesome Filament Spool Rewinder Spindle Plus

This design will fit spool with center holes from 80mm down to 36mm. 

Uses 2 6200 series bearings instead of 4 like the original.

The idler end bearing holder is attached by a M5x25mm cap or counter sunk screw. And for the driven side use the original geared bearing holder under the spindle folder.

For 80mm hole the max spool width is 90mm and for 36mm hole the max spool width is 45mm.

The Fusion 360 file is included with parameters so you can customize as needed.

Printing:

• All large flat faces down
• Slow down like 50mm/s for outer walls and 100mm/s for inner walls
• No supports unless you want to support the hex pocket on the spindle.

Parts Needed:

• 2x Bearing 6200RS2 or 6200ZZ,  30x9x10
• 2x M5x25 Cap or Counter Sunk Screw (Note longer screws are fine)

Assembly and Post processing:

• Insert a M5 by however long threaded heat insert into the hex piece on the end with the raised circle.
• Insert a M5 by however long threaded heat insert into the small end of the spindle
• Press the hex piece into the spindle and verify the overall length is 110mm. (You can glue it if needed but should be a snug fit)
• Install 6200 series bearing onto the bearing holder and screw it onto the small end of the spindle
• Install 6200 series bearing on the geared bearing holder and screw it onto the hex
• Work the nut onto the left handed threads a few times to loosen them up. Some light sanding may be required if your printer is not dialed in well.
